Sunday 26th September
The closing day of Long Division Festival is focused on families. A large scale free event at WX (former Market Hall) is presented by Wakefield BID and supported by Wakefield Council and the Arts Council and features 6 hours of live music plus a whole range of creative workshops and activities.
Legendary Fleetwood Mac tribute Weetwood Mac will headline (16:30), supported by the UKs number 1 Green Day tribute Green Haze (15:00). Shades Collective (13:45) will offer radical orchestral versions of Drum & Bass, Jungle and House classics. Chanel Yates (12:45), Wakefield’s own “The Voice” finalist will follow Trancend (12:00), Wakefield’s ultimate party band!
In the neighbouring Food Hall, creative workshops will keep minds young and old entertained whilst additional entertainment will be provided by Long Division’s own education project #YoungTeam.
And the wonderful Magic Rock will run a bar throughout the event.
The whole event is free but you must register for the free tickets in advance. GET THEM HERE! The Market Hall will run to a set capacity, so having a free ticket does not gurantee entry. If the hall reaches capacity, a one out, one in system will be put into operation. Get down early to avoid disappointment.
