Long Division Festival is an award winning metropolitan festival that places the best emerging grassroots artists alongside legends of Indie and DIY. Previous headliners include The Cribs, We Are Scientists, Billy Bragg, British Sea Power, The Fall, Asian Dub Foundation, Field Music, The Wedding Present, Peter Hook & The Light, Ash, and Gang Of Four.

The landmark 10th Long Division Festival was not able to take place in 2020 due to Covid-19 virus. The next Long Division Festival will take place on September 24th – 26th. Long Division Festival is about more than gigs in venues. We celebrate community and are dedicated to supporting the vibrant grassroots in Wakefield and beyond.
