Our family friendly and focussed creative venue, the Grade II listed Elizabethan Gallery, dates from the reign of Elizabeth I and sits within the modern surroundings of Trinity Walk Shopping Centre and Wakefield’s Market Building.

It will host a range of workshops suitably for young children and families and will be a great place to get away from the noise of the festival and get creative including building your own instruments from junk, a soap making workshop with Lush, Tote Bag Printing with Nostell Priory, Facepainting, interactive lighting experience with Backstage Academy, a collaborative doodle project inspired by the music of the festival, a pop-up performance from Ali Bullivent & Friends, our @.ac commission, making mini matchbox books, a stall from Wakefield Oxjam, NCS The Challenge and Go Higher‘s Double Decker Bus.
