Long Division Festival 2019 took place over five days, from May 29th to June 2nd in Wakefield City Centre attracting well over 3000 attendees, using 15 different venues and programming over 150 different events, performances and exhibitions. Over £75,000 was paid to artists and performers, with approx £120,000 being spent by attendees in the city whilst here (that doesn’t include ticket sales)

The festival is an award winning Celebration Of Independence & DIY Culture, bringing a mix of nationally touring performers and emerging artists to our city. But it’s about more than gigs in venues. We celebrate community and are dedicated to supporting the vibrant grassroots in Wakefield.
